Namibia Berries Kicks Off Harvest Season with Expanded Export Offering

Namibia Berries has officially started its 2025 blueberry harvest season. Early picking has begun and volumes are steadily increasing as the farm moves toward peak production in the weeks ahead. Exports of premium-quality blueberries to key international markets across Europe and Southern Asia have already started.

In a notable first for the company, exports now also include consumer-ready packaging formats, including 200g tubes and 125g clam shells. These consumer-ready exports support brand recognition at retail level.

“We are very proud of how this season has started,” said Michael Rodenburg, Founder and CEO at Namibia Berries. “Our team has worked tirelessly to prepare for harvest, and it’s exciting to see the first berries already reaching global markets. The introduction of packed products marks an important step forward in our value offering.”

As harvest gets underway, Namibia Berries has all post-harvest systems in place. Cold chain and handling processes have been optimised, and all fruit is hand-sorted and packed to ensure top quality. The farm achieved 100% scores in both GlobalG.A.P. and Spring audits this season.
