Namibia Berries Expands with Phase 2 of Development

Namibia Berries is proud to announce the next chapter in its growth journey with the launch of phase two, which adds 50 hectares of blueberry fields.

This phase will significantly boost production as the farm continues to grow.

A key element of the expansion is the installation of a fertigation station, designed to enhance water and nutrient management for the crops, ensuring they receive optimal care while conserving valuable resources — an approach that reflects Namibia Berries’ commitment to sustainability.

Building on the success of the first phase, this expansion also includes the construction of netting structures to safeguard the blueberries from weather conditions and pests, creating a controlled environment to protect the crops, support healthy growth and improve yield.

With more than 100,000 additional blueberry plants being introduced, the farm’s production capacity will increase significantly to meet growing demand.

Phase 2 is a key milestone in Namibia Berries’ long-term growth strategy. This expansion demonstrates Namibia Berries’ dedication to innovation, quality, and its vision of becoming a leader in the Southern African blueberry industry.
