About Namibia Berries

Namibia Berries is a leading producer of export-quality blueberries, committed to sustainable farming, strict compliance with labour laws, and creating positive community impact. Our operations demand efficiency, accountability, and a high standard of workplace conduct.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager to oversee all day-to-day HR operations on our Divundu site. This is not a purely office-based role — the HR Manager is expected to be present in the field, engaging with teams, enforcing procedures, and resolving issues quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, records, leave management, wages payroll, and benefits.

• Lead and manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with company policy and the Namibian Labour Act.

• Prepare, submit, and monitor the Affirmative Action Plan; ensure compliance with all related legal requirements.

• Conduct and document performance reviews; ensure follow-up actions are implemented.

• Coordinate and deliver training programmes to support skills development.

• Maintain all HR compliance records, including work permits and visas.

• Uphold company rules, procedures, and workplace standards across all departments.

• Provide timely and accurate HR reports to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR Management.

• Minimum 3 years’ proven HR management experience – this is non-negotiable.

• Proven track record in disciplinary management and enforcement of company procedures.

• Demonstrated experience in Affirmative Action Plan preparation and submission.

• Strong working knowledge of Namibian labour laws and HR compliance requirements.

• Computer literacy, including MS Office and HR information systems.

• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, seasonal labour environment.

• Willingness to live and work full-time in Divundu.

Key Attributes

• Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters.

• Consistency and fairness in applying company policies.

• Clear communicator, confident in engaging with staff at all levels.

• Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
