Namibia Berries is an export-focused blueberry farm based in Divundu, Namibia. We are looking for a hands-on Cold Room & Packing  Supervisor to join our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in fresh produce packhouses and a strong eye for quality and process control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations in the cold room and manual packing facility.
• Maintain cold chain integrity and ensure all fruit meets quality and export standards.
• Monitor temperatures, hygiene, PPE compliance, and traceability procedures.
• Supervise packing teams and seasonal workers, ensuring accurate labelling and grading.
• Coordinate with harvest, logistics, and quality control teams for seamless handovers.
• Assist in training staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure daily adherence to compliance systems including GlobalG.A.P. and HACCP.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture, Food Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a fruit packhouse or cold chain facility (blueberries or similar fresh produce preferred).
• Knowledge of cold storage systems, product handling, and post-harvest best practices.
• Experience with GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, or other food safety systems is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use (e.g. Excel, email, and packing reports).
• Ability to manage people calmly under pressure, especially during peak harvest season.
• Willingness to be based in a rural area and work long hours during harvest season.
